1. Who we are
konsensus.net is operated by two companies, and which one you contract with depends on what you order. Physical books are sold by Konsensus Network OÜ, an Estonian private limited company (registry code 14645829, VAT EE102492697), Sakala tn 7-2, 10141 Tallinn, Estonia. Digital products and services — ebooks, bookmatic, and consultations — are sold by Konsensus LLC (registry number 86585140624059), c/o Prospera Employment Solutions LLC, Beta Building, Oficina 6, Próspera ZEDE, St. John's Bay, Islas de la Bahía 34101, Republic of Honduras. Email: shop@konsensus.net. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Products and prices
We sell physical and digital books. We aim to describe and price everything accurately, but editions, availability, and prices can change, and listings may contain errors; where a price is clearly wrong, we may cancel and refund rather than fulfill at that price. Prices are shown in EUR, USD, or sats (bitcoin); the price charged is the one shown at checkout and includes any VAT due. For physical books delivered in the EU we account for VAT through the Union One-Stop-Shop (OSS) scheme based on your delivery country.
3. Orders and payment
Your order is an offer; a contract forms when we confirm it or your payment settles. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if it's out of stock, there's a clear pricing error, or we can't ship to you) and refund any amount paid. We accept cards and bitcoin/lightning; payment is processed on our provider's secure page, and we never receive or store card details. The title to the book and the ebook license pass to you once we've received full payment.
4. Delivery
We ship physical orders through our dispatch partners. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. If something arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, email shop@konsensus.net and we'll put it right. For deliveries outside the EU, you may owe local import duties or taxes on arrival.
5. Digital books
An ebook purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to download and read it for your own use; you may not resell or redistribute the file. Download links expire after 7 days — if yours lapses, contact us, and we'll reissue it.
6. Cancellations and returns
If you're a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from a purchase of physical goods within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason — email shop@konsensus.net and return the book unused and resaleable. You cover the cost of returning it. We issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the book back (or proof of return), including the standard outbound delivery cost.
For ebooks, by starting your download, you ask us to deliver immediately and agree you lose the 14-day withdrawal right once the download begins. Defective files are replaced or refunded. Your mandatory statutory consumer rights always apply.
7. Warranties and liability
Physical goods carry the statutory guarantee of conformity that applies where you live. Otherwise, the site and goods are provided "as is": to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
8. Intellectual property and permitted use
The site and everything on it — the catalog, book descriptions, curation, text, images, design, and code — is the intellectual property of Konsensus Network OÜ or its licensors. The books we sell are the copyright of their respective authors and publishers. You may browse and buy for your own personal use only. You may not copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, data-mine, republish, or redistribute any part of the site or its data; use it to build, train, or operate a competing product or service; or use it — or any book you download from us, free or paid — to train, develop, evaluate, or improve any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system, or to create derivative works, except where the specific book's own license (stated on its copyright page) expressly permits it. Automated or bulk access to the site is prohibited. Beyond browsing and buying, you receive only the reading license described in §5.
9. Partner program
If we issue you a personal discount code:
- Discount & commission. Buyers who use your code get 10% off, and you receive a commission on each completed order placed with your code — at the rate shown in your dashboard, calculated on the price your buyer pays for the products (after their discount; shipping excluded). You may use your own code.
- Bonuses. From time to time we may offer additional, discretionary rewards. These include bounties (rewards for hitting promotional milestones) and a weekly King of the Hill bonus, in which a slice of all participating partners’ net sales for the week forms a pool that the top sellers split, with each rank’s share set in advance. To protect everyone’s privacy, the King of the Hill bonus runs only in a week where enough partners competed, so a winner’s share always blends several partners’ sales and no individual’s sales can be inferred from it; the leaderboard and any winner are shown by code and name only, never by amount. All bonuses are optional, may change or end at any time, and follow the same rules below.
- Reversals. Commission and bonuses are due only on completed sales. If an order is refunded, returned, charged back or otherwise reversed, the related amounts are cancelled and reclaimed — including from sums already paid out or from later commission. We may likewise cancel or reclaim anything credited in error, including through a bug, failure, exploit or abuse.
- Payouts. You may request payout of available commission from your dashboard; we pay in bitcoin (Lightning or on-chain) to an address you provide, and a sent payout cannot be reversed. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
- Conduct. Promote honestly and lawfully — no misleading claims, no spam, no impersonating us.
- Our rights. We may change the program's rules or rates at any time (effective for orders placed after we notify you), withhold or reclaim amounts in cases of fraud or breach, and suspend a code or end the program or your participation at any time. Taking part does not make you our employee, agent or legal partner, and creates no entitlement beyond commission actually due on completed sales.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Estonian law, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence. We'll try to resolve any issue directly — email shop@konsensus.net.
11. Changes
The version of these Terms in force is the one published here when you order.
