Murray Rothbard's 1973 manifesto lays out the case for anarcho-capitalism, arguing that state power is both unworkable and immoral and should be curbed and ultimately abolished. Drawing on natural rights, Austrian economics, and American history, he applies libertarian principles to war, education, welfare, the environment, and more. The book gave the libertarian movement much of its intellectual foundation.
